Project/Department Description and responsibilities
Our client is currently looking for a full time Public Procurement Buyer for to support its Procurement department with a deep expertise in ICT purchasing and public tenders.Primary Tasks and responsibilities
- Supervise and support a specific public procurement procedures (purchasing of a SaaS HR Suite) guaranteeing a smooth running of the procedure (compliance with regulations and process, respect for deadlines, etc.) in order to obtain an efficient purchase.
Technical profile requirements
- +5 years of experience in public procurement
- Expert knowledge of Belgian Public Market legislation, compliance & procedures
- Expertise in ICT purchase (SaaS solution purchase)
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and eProcurement tools
Non-Technical profile requirements
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on the human aspect
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills
- Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines
Methodology/Certification requirements
- Master’s Degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Public Administration OR equivalent through experience.
Language proficiencies
- NL is a must (most of the participants are Dutch speaking) + French
- English
