In the data warehouse team, we are working in the fascinating world of
data every day. In order to be fully prepared for tomorrow’s challenges, we have put in place a new platform, new tools and new detailed and aggregated data for our business clients to support them in their analysis. We work closely with the business to analyse and model data.
In the DWH team, we strive to combine insurance business concepts and develop well
reflected systems to respond a maximum to our business clients’ reporting needs.

Responsibilities

The key missions of the data warehouse business analyst are:
a. Organization and moderating workshops with the business client in order to
define their business needs.
b. Gathering the business requirements and define solutions with the client
c. Assisting the project manager for project planning and follow-up
d. Designing the different data patrimonies and keep it coherent in the time
e. Assessing new tools, new technologies and methodologies
f. Documenting the functional documentation
g. Explaining the functional contents of the projects to the development team
(link between users and the development team)
h. The monitoring/control of the functional design (logical data, functionalities
and controls) of the applications of his business domain.
i. Validating the deviations needed in the design and controlling they are
documented.
j. Ensuring the respect of functional and technical design
standards.
k. Definition of best practices and patterns to be applied in his application
context and documenting and maintaining them.
l. Helping to define the testing approach of the projects with the clients

Technical skills

 University Graduate or Professional bachelor
Ideally University graduate “Master” in information Science, Management or Industrial Engineer.
 Strong interest for Business Process Analysis
 Experience in data modelling and functional analysis
 Good knowledge of insurance processes (Life, Non Life, EB)
 Experience in functional Enterprise modelling and Architecture (trough projects)
 Understanding development life cycles
 Mastering scheduling principles and techniques
 Experience in functional Enterprise modelling and Architecture (trough projects)
 Experience in data modelling via Erwin
 Excellent knowledge of MS-office Tools
 Understanding development life cycles
 Mastering scheduling principles and techniques (CTRL/M)
 SAS Base - SAS Macro - SAS OLAP Cube Studio
 SAS DI studio - SAS Enterprise Guide + Stored Processes
 SAS Information Map Studio + Web Report Studio – SAS Portal.
 SAS Visual analytics
 SAS Management Console
 SAS E-miner
 Microsoft BI tools
