ICT Support Engineer Expert L2

Description

We are looking for an experienced ICT Support engineer having a strong and immediately actionable expertise in managing complex ICT support tasks. Windows and Google working together, this is our context, what about joining the team ?

The ICT Support engineer will join the team to act as 2nd line in managing complex incidents relatedto basic facilities components like Windows 10, Google workspace, Active Directory... Beside frontlinesupport, the support engineer must be able to build the future solutions like laptop staging laboratoryand Windows staging. Experience in similar position will be key, having proven experience with Google Workspace is a clear differentiator.

Responsibilities

  • Take over, manage and solve 2nd line basic facilities incidents (mainly workstationrelated)
  • Log, manage and resolve basic facilities problems and document solutions
  • Propose, design and implement improvement regarding basic facilities environment

Skills

Technical skills

  • experience with Windows 10 desktop operating System including (but not limited to):
    • User profiles
    • Application packaging (using MSI package creation tools)
    • Application deployment methods
    • Group policies
    • Licensing
    • Security hardening
    • Sysprep
    • Unattended /scripted installation
    • Root Cause Analysis
  • Creation and deployment of images for Windows 10.
  • Chromebooks
  • Application packaging
  • Application deployment methods

 

  • The successful applicant will be a 1st & 2nd Line Deskside/Desktop technical supportengineer, with strong Deployment and BAU IT & Windows 10/Office 365 experiencearound installation, troubleshooting, roll outs/deployment, problem resolution andmaintenance experience.
  • Must have excellent client facing experience, with extensive experience of providing faceto face support
  • Responds to customer questions regarding operation and malfunctions. Advisescustomers on preventative maintenance and configuration adjustments to improve productperformance and customer satisfaction
  • The successful applicant will have as many of the following as possible: Windows 7 & 10,,Active Directory, MacOS, iPhone & Android, BYOD etc.
  • Experience of working within SLAs
  • Desktop, laptop, printer support
