Bid Manager/Project Manager service

Description

The client is currently expanding its existing position into offshore transmission activities outside of its domestic markets (Belgium and Germany) in Europe and in emerging offshore markets. The group’s ambition for offshore consists in taking participation on offshore wind-farm projects and co-developing, building and operating the offshore transmission assets connecting the windfarm to onshore grid. The objective of the mission is to support the business development activities on a selected number of opportunities and activities to establish the client on this new activity.

 

Responsibilities

The mission holder will essentially support the business development activities through a number of services including:

  • prepare and participate in meetings with potential partners
  • coordinate within the company/group/sister companies the preparation of deliverables to support the work with partners, track and report on progress, make recommendations
  • coordinate potential sub-contractors, including support in the issuance of purchase orders, monitoring of deliverables, validation of invoices
  • conduct analysis with Excel on project workloads, support on cost benchmarking
  • conduct market research on potential partners/projects

•    Knowledge of offshore and/or transmission systems (preferable)
