Change Manager - Senior


Our client is currently looking for a Change Manager to start ASAP overlapping with the current expert for hand over purposes to accompany until 30.04.2022 the transformation initiatives that are currently ongoing at the Union of the “Mutualités Libres”. The ultimate objective is to ensure that the impacts of the initiatives (optimization of processes, organizations, systems, … ) on processes, organization and people are anticipated and managed efficiently. In order to guarantee the desired delivery and operational results, the Change Manager works together with project managers and/or Team managers to support and guide them through the necessary change management steps . The expert designated will address the people-change-factor along the way.


  • Identify the changes, projects and other transformation initiatives that requiring change management support and lead a quick diagnostic, in the following manner:
    • Lead a change assessment in order to identify and describe the project impacts on the populations and the possible resistance to change that is observed in the organization.
    • When the impact is high or medium, list a first set of recommendations to support the project manager and propose a high level change approach.
  • Define and structure a change management plan for the progression/transformation initiatives and for some IT related projects that have a medium or high people/process impact by:
    • Defining the change management approach together with the Project Manager in order to optimize the project results
    • Plan, describe, organize and facilitate all the needed activities to accompany the change together with the other supporting teams (communication, human resources, IT, process analysts, etc.)
    • Act as a change integrator and facilitate the project execution and to decrease the resistance to change in the impacted populations.
  • Implement the change management plan together with the project lead, in terms of:
    • Ensure proper planning and execution of the change approach,
    • Developing the right tools,
    • Communicating clearly with the different stakeholders, …
  • Use the stakeholder map to prioritise and scale the support and communication when needed.
  • Act as a reference person in change management who supports the BU managers and projects managers in the organization in the day to day, by consequently:
    • Design change roadmap
    • Interview many type of stakeholders at all level of the organization in order to feed populations impact analysis
    • Prepare stakeholders maps to design the change approach
    • Plan, organize, prepare and animate/facilitate workshops and discussions
    • Prepare communication and provide input for training material
    • Review communication and training material
    • Coach project managers in order to differently lead meetings and workshops (taking the audience characteristics and the objectives into account)
    • Prepare project presentations for steerings and other ceremonies
    • Develop process and governance documentation when necessary to accelerate the progress of the project
    • Organize retrospectives when needed (quality assurance)
    • Make sure the change management procedures are undergoing continuous improvement from lessons learned, team’s input, in accordance with reporting and forecasts, through identification and analysis of the changes.


Technical profile requirements

  • +5y experience as a PM
  • +5y experience in Change Management/Transformation in complex organisations
  •  Proven experience in impact analysis on people/processes/gouvernance/organization
  • Agile experience is a plus
  • Expert knowledge of tools & process implementation
  • Expert knowledge of internal communication strategies linked to change & innovation

Methodology/Certification requirements

  • Master’s degree or equivalent through experience

Language proficiencies

  • FR + NL is mandatory (bi-lingual proficiency)
