Project/Department Description and responsibilities
Our client is currently looking for a Business Project Manager to support the migration to a new core-application. Your role as Business Project Manager is in between the Business and the IT-department, who are your most important stakeholders.
Together with the project managers you'll make the migration-program to a success.
The program is already ongoing and they need additional support.

As a project manager, you are responsible for various projects related to the implementation of the business . You manage one or multiple projects (identification of the need, concept, follow-up, implementation & release, testing, maintenance, stability and operational handover, etc.)
Scope range, timing, budget and quality are managed in accordance with standardised processes of the company.

Responsibilities

Primary Tasks and responsibilities

  • Ensure well executed people management within different teams
  • Define timeline and milestones of the projects
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to the team members within different project groups
  • Managing the risks and issues related to the delivery of the project
  • Clarify high-level scope and the technical synergies between the different sub-projects
  • Ensuring the compliance to standards and best practices across all projects
  • Manage a team of internal staff and/or external contractors
  • Be proactive in proposing technical solutions and innovations
  • Reporting progress, issues, risks etc. to the customer and to the program manager
  • Install a process of « project review » to make sure a continuous qualitative delivery is assured including best practices and lessons learned
  • Invest and participate in the creation of a « learning school » covering the applied knowledge, best practices and tools used during the implementation and covering the different domains

Profile requirements

  • +7 years experience in Project Management
  • experience in a large & complex environment
  • experience with transversal projects with an impact to different departments
  • Strong in communication, people management, facilitating, coordination, reporting,...
  • knowledge of Dynamics is a strongplus
  • knowledge of ERP-implementation/migration is a plus
  • knowledge of Planview, MS Project or equivalent is a plus
  • Strong Agile minded
  • Certified PRINCE2, PMI, or equivalent
  • Proven C-level communication, diplomacy & problem solving experience

Methodology/Certification requirements

  • Master Degree in Computer Science OR equivalent through experience.
  • Expert knowledge of one or more project management methods, supporting tools and management concepts such as Prince 2 and Agile / Adkar
  • Certified PRINCE2, PMI, or equal by experience is a plus

Language proficiencies

  • Fluent in French is a must
  • Good knowledge of Dutch & English as a nice to have
