Within the DMG (Deal Management) Restitution Services team, the consultant will participate in the "Restitution" activity, which includes short-term evolution, participation in business initiatives and operations, tests, and projects. We are looking for a developer capable of addressing "Deal Management" issues (functions: "trade acquisition," "trade life-cycle," "trade expiration") implemented in the historical trading system, Meteor, or the target Trading system GEMStone (based on Orchestrade).

Baseline & Support

• Bug fixing related to production
• Second-level support on-call once a month outside office hours and on weekends (callable)

• Improving existing tools based on client requests

• Participating in business initiatives (implementation of new products, evolution of the STP (straight-through processing) chain, continuous performance improvement)

Team and Responsibilities

In a team of 10 to 12 people, the consultant will develop and deliver fixes and enhancements for the Application Restitution and GEMStone tools. Special attention will be given to ALM aspects and quality in this work. Progress will be shared with the rest of the team during daily meetings. The team follows a methodology and formality strongly inspired by Scrum (agile framework).

System and Technology

To enhance its competitiveness and continue its development under the best conditions, GEM-IS is investing significantly in its information system. The target trading system, currently being implemented, aims to completely replace the existing Trading system with the Orchestrade solution (editor). Part of the activity has already been migrated (.Net for extensions).

Restitution Services offers a 100% Cloud application chain decoupled from the central system, providing one of the transversal APIs for real-time restitution of Trades/Deals and physical positions, as well as additional services for official and critical data to front-to-back processes.
