Job Description: Project Manager - Microsoft Dynamics Business Central Implementation

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central. The ideal candidate will have extensive project management experience, strong leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Resource Management: Efficiently manage resources to meet project objectives.
• Budget Management: Prepare and monitor project budgets to ensure financial goals are met.
• Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, strategy, and progress.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Issue Resolution: Address and resolve project issues promptly to keep the project on track.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
• Vendor Management: Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of services and products.
• Documentation: Coordinate the development of documentation to support implementation and turnover processes.
• Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and deadlines.
• Post-Project Evaluation: Conduct evaluations to assess project performance and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree in Business Administration is a plus.
• Experience: 4-10 years of full-cycle IT project management experience, with a focus on ERP/CRM implementations, preferably Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.
• Skills:
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Project.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
• Certifications: PMP or similar project management certification is preferred.
• Travel: Ability to travel to client sites as needed (Arendonk - Oostkamp).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central platform.
• Knowledge of business process analysis and optimization.
• Familiarity with data migration, integration, and performance optimization.
