Department/Project:

the new BDI department is urgently looking for a Medior Tableau Developer to join their team. BDI is divided into 3 teams: Data reporting / Data integration / Data modelling and the consultant will join the data reporting team.

The consultant will be part of the data reporting team which consists of 4 team-members and a coordinator, all of them senior/expert level.

Primary Tasks and responsibilities

• Analyze the functional and business requirements in order to create the report and/or dashboard
• Insure the well understanding of all requirements.
• Study and discuss the analysis with the coordinator and/or internal stakeholder(s)
• Design, Build & Test & Support the Reports & Dashboards
• Ensure quality, coherence and performance of the Reports & Dashboards.
• Put in practice the improvement actions and good practices of software development
• Participate in the daily Scrum meeting & other Agile ceremonies

Technical profile requirements

• Good knowledge of BI Tableau tool is mandatory
• Very good SQL knowledge is mandatory
• Good database knowledge of Datamarts & Datawarehouse is a plus
• Good practical experience in Tooling such as: Atlassian JIRA / Confluence is a plus
• knowledge of DBeaver is a plus
• Knowledge of Agile methodology is a plus

Methodology/Certification requirements

• Master Degree in Computer Science OR equivalent through experience. Advanced course work in technical systems plus continued education in technical disciplines is preferred
• Minimum tableau certified: Desktop specialis

Language proficiencies

• Fluent in French is mandatory
• Advanced conversational skills in English or Dutch are a strong plus
